project description: fabrication and installation of a full scale mock passenger train car in the windows of Saks 5th Avenue.
responsibilities:
_I managed this project while working as an engineer / fabricator for TWOSEVEN INC.
_communication w/ client through presentation/renderings
_field measurements and fabrication drawings
_sourcing materials and hardware
_prop was designed in Autocad and Google Sketch-up
_plywood structure cut on CNC router
_managed production in the shop and on site installation
_the entire train was designed to be assembled inside the windows in one day
_two additional trains were built and shipped to Beverly Hills and San Francisco
